Medical analysis and quality control is overseen by our Global Medical Panel. The quality and realism of our surgical simulations is at the core of our product. We have comprehensive and robust processes for ensuring the medical accuracy and educational quality of our simulations and assessment procedures.
The medical accuracy of our simulations is assured through our collaboration with world-leading key opinion leaders (KOLs) in surgery. We work very closely with KOLs to analyze key surgical objectives and requisite skills in order to design and develop our simulations. To do this we use a sophisticated in-house multisensory surgical task analysis system that ensures we understand the key components of each surgical procedure and create a simulation that focuses on the key learning outcomes.
As part of our commitment to the quality of our simulations and their value to surgeons as a training tool, we will be working with leading educational, training and surgical organizations to provide an independent review of our simulations.
For example, our Total Hip Replacement (Posterior Approach) has been accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
